Once again, I am reminded what a great place Michigan is. I love living here.
Yesturday, a federal judge in Detroit, Anna Something-or-the-other (I can't remeber her name) made a ruling against the NSA domestic survelience programs. She ruled that it is/was illegal and uncostitutional breaking the first and fourth amendments (freedom of speech/ privacy, and freedom from illegal searches). The case was brought up by the ACLU.
Way To Go Anna!!
Because this was a federal court it now sets a precident that will allow more judges to tell Bush where he can shove it.
The Bush administration has said he will appeal it. But it has been predicted by many in the legal community to never make it past the supreme court.
Horray, this is a big break in the war on the war on Terror (yes, that was meant to make fun of Bush, it's sattire people don't hang me)
The NSA will be allowed to continue the wire tapping until the appeals are all done with.
Maybe, just maybe, this will be the issue that will finally allow us to impeach the son of a bitch.
Thanks for Reading,
