as many of you know i call america's giant mitten home (that's michigan if you don't know your geography). here are my top five thing i love about the great state i call home.

1. the great lakes are so beautiful. and a great place to swim
2. the Mackinaw bridge, which is one of  the longest suspension bridges in the world at five miles.
3. Detroit sports (need I say more)
4. the fact that we set the national record for the youngest mayor in U.S. History (18) just a few miles from where i live
5.  a tie: (a) that map only we michiganders make with our hand to use as a map to show where we live (if you don't get it you obvliously don't know anyone from michigan) (b) U.P. jokes (again you need to be from michigan to get it)
