I work ot this hotel/confrence center called the Kellogg (yes like the cereal) owned by Michigan State University. It's one of the nicer places around here. I work in the Salad department of the Banguet Kitchen.
Saturday I had to stay late to assist in cutting a wedding cake. It was a beautiful three tier cake. but due to all the Break up drama it mad me feel like crying.
Normally when i had to cut a wedding cake i would call coral and tell her about it and we would talk about what our wedding would be like. we would talk about who would be there and where it would be and all that jazz. But now coral doesn't even want to speak to me.
This cake was a reminder of what could have been. it was a reminder of what will never be.
I was going to ask Coral to marry me as soon as i got my shit together and had the money and where-with-all to be a married man. I always thought coral and i would grow old together. so, now seeing that wedding cake just made me want to cry. I  was even offered a piece but i was seriously not feeling it.
