ok first off i came way to close to losing my job on friday. the company (Qualiyt Dairy Co. of Lansing) i work for does alcohol sting almost the same way that the the police do. (i live in Michigan where there are some of the strictest tobbaco/alcohol laws are). the way they work is a person from company security drives an underage person form store to store (there are over thirty stores) and have that person try to but alcohol. if it goes right i ask the person for ID and decline the sale and send him on his way. the security person comes in and gives me ten dollars in gift certificates. this time it was at the end of the shift i was the only cashier open and i was running a big big line. i was in a rush the kid comes up i look at him i figure he is like mid twenties so i figure he is good to go. so i sell him the bottle of bud. oh fuck was that ever a mistake. the security person came in about ten minutes later. i see her and i am like "oh shit! did i just do what i think i just did? oh man she's got that can of beer! fuck..."  "umm... hi Judy". she look me in back and debriefed me about what had happened. so i'm on a three day suspention almost fired. i have to go to a training class over again if i miss this fucking class my ass is grass. that sucks because i have past two other company stings. BUT... if it had been done by the police and not by company security this would have Happened:

1. i would have lost my fucking job, but that would have been the least of my worrie,

2. i would have been stuck with a $500 fine, which i most likely would not have been able to pay because iu would have just lust my job so,

3. i would have had to serve community service or serve up to 90 days in jail.

wow! was i lucky it wasn't the cops!

that was on friday. sunday was better i spent it with coral. we wne t to dinner with some of her friends. then we went to a sting concert. it was an awesome show. phantom planet opened and sting played all the songs i like. and the best part was i was with coral. i wasn;t a sting fan before but i am now. to be honest, i wasn't looking forward to going, but now i am so glad coral draged my but to go. thsanks girl i love you and glad we have a memory that doesn;t involve a movie or a silly fight.
